OFFICIALS Courses - we need you!

We really do need support to be able to provide the correct amount of officials at our league meetings. On many occasions recently, we have been left with only 2 official when we should be providing 5. The committee would appreciate hearing from interested parents, supporters and friends of the club who would like to help. Further information is available below.

Field Judge course modules have been arranged at Wimbledon College, as follows:

Health & Safety: evening of 18th July (required for all officials who have not already attended a UKA H&S course)

Discipline Specific Field: evenings of 25th and 27th July (two evenings being used as it is estimated that 4 hours is required for this module, as we are using the new UKA Level 1 syllabus, which is more practically based, with much less time in the classroom).

Those can now be booked via the EA website via links at Health and Safety and Field Module.
 
Plans are also in hand for courses in the autumn, with tentative details as follows (dates / venues are provisional and subject to confirmation):

• ·         Level 1 Endurance / Risk Awareness on Sunday, 8th October (in South-West London), morning and afternoon;
• ·         Level 1 Track & Field (we will aim to deliver all disciplines as well as Health & Safety) on Saturday, 25th November (in South-West London), morning and afternoon.
