EBBISHAM LEAGUE - Next match 24th June at Walton
The Ebbisham League is a league set up for U13 & U15 boys both scoring and non-scoring. There is also provision for non-scoring boys in limited U11 and U17 events. We have been very successful in this league and three years ago we progressed to Division One and we have then held onto 2nd place in the league for two years running. This year our aim is for first place, however, this is only achievable with a strong squad covering all disciplines.
As part of Sutton & District you will be expected to attend these league matches and in addition, the coaches will use this event to select the U13 and U15s who will be asked to attend the National Young Athletes League (there are no non-scoring events at that meeting).
Please ensure all athletes who are attending training and this and future competitions, are now paid up members as they will not be covered by any insurance or eligible to attend under EA rules.
The dates for this year are as follows The first match takes place Sunday 15th April The following matches are on Sunday 24th June at Walton and Sunday 15th July at Croydon.
Help at all matches is really welcome as often the coaches and team managers end up having to official to gain extra points for the team, and this means the athletes don't get the support they need prior to and after their event. Last year it meant we had one athlete who didn't get to the start at correct time and he missed his event and the team missed the points!

Please remember that a Sutton vest will need to be worn for all these events so please contact Paul in the clubroom if you need to buy one.
Whilst writing the club must emphasize that parents are responsible for getting the athlete to and from these club matches and they are responsible for them whilst they are there.
