2011-2012

This season we changes to Cross Country and Sutton & District Athletes ran as Sutton Runners.  This was change was to enable our older athletes to have higher competition and for teams in Senior events.  As our younger member move up in age groups, this change will enable them to continue running Cross Country in stronger leagues.

This year we had two runners who were able to compete at the National Cross Country Championships.  Congratulations to Alex Penfold and James Hancock.

Additional updates on Cross Country success coming soon.

2009-2010

The Mens Cross Country in 2009-2010 Was the most successful that we have had for quite a while.Sutton finished top of Surrey League with a very succesful campaign.Sutton came close to completing the double or even triple with Sutton comming 2nd In both East Surrey League and Epsom Downs League

This change was very sudden.Very late into the track season we were allowed back into the Surrey League after a lot of letters we were finally allowed back into the Surrey league after a short break from the league.Sutton made full use of being resubmited back into the surrey League with winning all bar one of the races for U17 and winning most if not all of he U13.

As for the womens ,Sutton and District doesn't have a great amount of opportunity to show their cross country talent but what they have entered they certainly have done well at. Sutton however consistantly show good form in The Parkruns, Emer Kerr and Monica Isaac have all won Parkruns before.Emer Kerr, Beth Semikin and Blanka Pokolab all run in the Surrey league as well as many U13 which is generally the age Sutton do the best at.
